Why PIGS?
Only at PIGS can you be guaranteed an affordable Alaskan experience filled with tasteless humor, exceptional service, and memories that will last a lifetime.
This is a small sampling of what makes our services stand out from the rest. Click on any of them to read in detail what we have to offer.
Safety First
The Alaskan wilderness can be a dangerous place.
PIGS is dedicated to the safety of all trip members. Whether on the raft or in the tents, PIGS will take every precaution necessary to ensure the safest atmosphere possible.
No matter how much you want to hide a peanut butter sandwich under your wife’s pillow, PIGS highly discourages it.
Lets Have Fun
Our main goal is for everyone to relax and have a great time. Even if that great time may be a little low brow.
This is your trip so do as you please safely. Fish, relax, drink a cocktail and enjoy Alaska.
PIGS will not be responsible for any injuries resulting from the successful attempt to scratch a bear’s belly.
Exclusive Expeditions
All PIGS float trips are geared and customized specifically to each individual group.
Our trips will never mix separate parties together. This makes your trip private with no worries about some jackass ruining your Alaskan adventure.
Outfitter Participation
At PIGS we care that you’re provided the best service in the business. That is why Mark or John will lead every expedition.
Other float trip outfitters will send you with guides you have never spoken with prior to your trip.
This is where PIGS is hands down the best in the business. If you have a problem on your float you can come directly to Mark or John.
This is our business and we are not just guides, we are the outfitter.
Quality Gear
You can look forward to exceptional service, as well as unparalleled rafting and camping gear.
We cannot provide the best service if we do not have the best gear. PIGS has ensured that all gear exceeds industry standards.
Custom Sotar rafts, Kelty outfitter tents, Thermarest cots and pads, are just some of the luxuries of our expeditions.
Custom Meals
PIGS takes into consideration everyone’s dietary needs and palate.
Therefore, we will customize a menu specific to your wants and needs. If you don’t like chicken, we’re not going to serve you chicken! It is that simple.
Our capabilities for cooking are limited to an outdoor kitchen comprised of the bare essentials. We will make the best of what we have to work with and guarantee nobody goes hungry.
Trip Itinerary
Every trip is organized well in advance. A gear list of what you need to bring is provided and every meal is discussed prior to your arrival.
PIGS will provide assistance with any and all arrangements prior to and after your float trip as needed.
Our trips are designed to meet the needs of each individual party. We recognize that not everyone is geared for countless hours of fishing, nor can anyone literally fish nonstop from the time they wake up until they hit the sack.
There are abundant opportunities for photography along the trip. The plethora of wildlife and incredible scenery can keep any photographer busy during the float or while hiking along the river.
We want to make your Alaskan experience easy and hassle free from start to finish. Tell us what you need and PIGS will be happy to assist.
Welcome to the Politically Incorrect Guide Service
Home of the Boys Out Navigating Epic RiverS, or as we call ourselves, B.O.N.E.R.S!
While on a road trip John and Mark were discussing possible names for the business.
We wanted a name that stood out professionally, yet portrayed who we were as individuals. Being the fun loving, easy going jokesters that we are, names we were coming up with were too serious. We needed something fun and that separated us from all the rest.
After a few hours of getting nowhere, Mark came up with the acronym of B.O.N.E.R.S or Boys Out Navigating Epic RiverS. Hearing this, John’s wife Lori called John and Mark “PIGS”! The name stuck and the Politically Incorrect Guide Service was born.
PIGS is dedicated to providing a safe, fun, and exciting atmosphere at all times. We want everyone to be themselves and feel free from the politically correct world that we live. If you cannot take a joke we are not for you. PIGS consider ourselves as equal opportunity offenders.
All PIGS float trips are geared and customized specifically to each individual group. Unlike our competitors, our trips will never mix groups together. Enjoy your trip with whoever is in your party, no one else. This makes your trip private with no worries about some jackass ruining your Alaskan adventure.
PIGS provides a laid back wilderness experience that is conducive for everyone, regardless of age, to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.
From the beginning we have strived to be different and more importantly, the best float trip company in the business.
PIGS will not be responsible for any injuries resulting from the successful attempt to scratch a bear’s belly.
